Level III Critical Care Registered Nurse

Provide primary care for Level III medical-surgical critical care patients as a Registered Nurse ly critical thinking within a patient-focused environment.

This Registered Nurse works with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team. Practice follows College of Nurses standards, Sunnybrook Nursing Practice standards, and organizational mission and values. The position requires current critical care experience and recognized critical care education.

• Provide primary care for Level III critical care patients
• Work closely with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members
• Integrate critical thinking into patient care
• Function independently and within the multidisciplinary team
• Support patient-focused care aligned with Sunnybrook standards

• Current College of Nurses of Ontario registration
• Current BCLS certificate
• Three years of current Level 2 or 3 critical care experience
• Completion of a recognized Critical Care Course
• Strong communication, organization, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills
