Experienced Ontario RPNs can bring nursing knowledge and patient-oriented care to Manitoba as full-time Licensed Practical Nurses. Relocation assistance is provided.
Extendicare welcomes Ontario Registered Practical Nurses interested in relocating to Manitoba and practicing as LPNs. Reporting to the Director of Care, you will provide planned, goal-directed nursing care in seniors’ care. The position requires current CPR certification, nursing knowledge, and collaboration with healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide care according to nursing standards and physicians’ orders
Observe, report, and record resident vital signs and conditions
Assess residents and develop, review, and evaluate care plans
Monitor changes and assess needs for physician referrals
Orient, mentor, and support staff competency development
Requirements:
Current registration with the CLPNA
Ontario RPN registration with Manitoba licensing guidance available
Current CPR certification
Knowledge of wound management and infection control
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
