C5 Trauma Registered Nurse

Provide trauma patient care as a Registered Nurse on C5, using assessment and intervention skills within Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Support patient advocacy and education.
This Registered Nurse provides primary care for trauma patients at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. The work includes assessment, intervention, education, and patient advocacy. The RN supports Person-Centred Care principles and collaborates closely with the multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide primary care for trauma patients
Assess patient needs and clinical conditions
Deliver interventions and patient education
Advocate for patients and their care needs
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
Requirements:
Current Ontario Certificate of Competence
Current B.C.L.S. certification
Current trauma experience required
Excellent assessment, interpersonal, and communication skills
Commitment to Person-Centred Care principles
