Part-Time Cardiac Nephrology Registered Nurse

Provide cardiac and nephrology care as a part-time Registered Nurse with Mercy One Northeast Iowa on a 12-hour day shift.
This Cardiac Nephrology RN works on a 24-bed unit caring for post-Cath, EP, CHF, chest pain, drip, and renal failure patients. New graduates receive bedside support from a virtual nurse through video conferencing. The position is .6 FTE, scheduled from 6:45 a.m. to 7:15 p.m., including every third weekend.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Supervise care provided by LPNs and PCAs
- Coordinate care delivered by LPNs and PCAs
- Facilitate communication with physicians and families
- Communicate with other members of the care team
- Current Iowa Registered Nurse license
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- No previous experience required
- Availability for 12-hour day shifts
- Availability every third weekend
