Client and Patient Care Assistant

Eglinton Veterinary Facilities is hiring a Client Care / Patient Care Team Member for a hybrid role engaged in both client interaction and hands-on patient care. Be part of a supportive veterinary team aiding in the wellbeing of pets and assisting their owners.

This role welcomes candidates passionate about animal care and client service. You will assist reception duties and perform various patient care responsibilities throughout the hospital. Veterinary experience is preferred, but Eglinton is eager to train committed individuals who show compassion and a desire to grow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet clients and patients with warmth and professionalism

• Schedule appointments and manage bookings efficiently

• Assist veterinarians with patient handling and support

• Maintain hospital cleanliness and sterilize equipment

• Assist with laboratory samples and monitor patients

Requirements:

• Previous veterinary or animal care experience preferred

• Strong communication skills and multitasking ability

• Comfortable interacting with clients and pets

• Compassion for animals and their families

• Willingness to learn veterinary software if needed
