As a full-time RVT, you will play a critical role in assisting veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures. Your daily tasks will involve providing hands-on animal care, administering medications, and conducting laboratory tests. You will also educate clients on pet care and participate in overall clinic maintenance to ensure an optimal environment for both pets and their owners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist veterinarians during animal examinations and treatments
• Administer medications and perform laboratory tests
• Maintain accurate patient medical records
• Educate clients on preventive pet care and aftercare
• Support anesthetic monitoring and pain management protocols
Requirements:
• Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) designation in Ontario
• Strong skills in animal care and client communication
• Experience in a small animal veterinary setting
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
