CDA-AMC is seeking a Pharmaceutical Reviews Officer in Toronto for a 12-month, full-time contract. This hybrid role focuses on research, policy, and evidence-based medicine.
As a Pharmaceutical Reviews Officer, you'll be responsible for writing high-quality reports to inform policy decisions on pharmaceutical products. Ideal candidates hold a graduate degree in a relevant field alongside demonstrated expertise in research methodologies, including systematic reviews and health technology assessments. Strong communication skills are essential for presenting findings effectively to diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work in multidisciplinary teams to prepare pharmaceutical review reports
• Conduct comprehensive literature reviews and critical appraisals
• Assist peers with report production and related tasks
• Serve as an expert resource in clinical study evaluations
• Update senior officers on project progress and compliance
Requirements:
• Graduate degree in medicine or a related discipline
• Proven experience with meta-analyses and appraisal methods
• Strong understanding of Canada's healthcare policies
• Exceptional report writing and presentation skills
• Flexibility to manage multiple tasks in a collaborative setting
