Senior MRI Technologist

You will be a vital part of the Image Service team, focused on ensuring optimal MRI function and supporting related medical imaging systems. By providing frontline service during technical issues and collaborating on maintenance schedules, you'll enhance the operational efficiency of MRI systems. Your contributions will also include participating in research and development projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Focus on technical support and maintenance for MRI systems
• Address service events and ensure minimal downtime
• Conduct routine maintenance in partnership with vendors
• Assist in testing and verifying performance and safety standards
• Document service records in the Medical Engineering database
Requirements:
• 3-year diploma in Biomedical Engineering Technology or equivalent
• At least 7 years' relevant clinical imaging experience
• Direct experience with MRI systems strongly preferred
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and safety training
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork abilities
Utilize your experience in medical imaging to make a difference in patient care at Toronto General Hospital.
