This pivotal position focuses on ensuring a safe workplace by providing leadership in health and safety regulations and practices. You will integrate into the management team, performing hazard assessments and facilitating training programs. By managing the OH&S system and collaborating with safety committees, you will ensure that Atlantic Packaging consistently delivers a safe product.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct workplace safety audits and gap analyses

• Implement and manage safety training programs

• Guide the application of safety procedures and protocols

• Oversee incident reporting and investigations

• Produce detailed safety analytics and feedback reports

Requirements:

• At least 5 years in health and safety management within unions

• Health and safety qualification or certification

• Familiarity with Ontario's health and safety standards

• Advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office

• Must possess a valid driver’s license and vehicle
