At Hitachi Rail, we are seeking a Quality Lead with extensive experience in engineering and quality assurance within the railway industry. You will support operational excellence through leadership in the management of quality processes, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement.
Your role is crucial in addressing customer expectations and implementing effective action plans.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support process owners for uniform implementation of quality procedures
• Organize discipline to meet quality commitments
• Implement verification procedures for projects and products
• Address quality concerns raised by managers and customers
• Monitor and report on critical action plans for quality issues
Requirements:
• 10 years of engineering/quality assurance experience
• 5+ years in root cause analysis and failure investigation
• 5+ years as a Quality Assurance Manager
• B.S in Engineering or equivalent
• Process improvement training (e.g., Six Sigma)
• Familiarity with CENELEC standards and ISO
9001
Lead the charge in quality assurance while ensuring customer satisfaction and operational success.
