Job Title:
Business Partner, Product Integrity & Compliance
The Business Partner, Product Integrity & Compliance is responsible for ensuring that Canada Goose products meet all applicable international product compliance regulations as well as internal standards. This role leads the implementation and governance of compliance processes across the product development lifecycle, with a strong focus on material development and finished product compliance.
Responsibilities- Ensure raw material development, finished product development, and top-of-production activities meet Canada Goose product safety, regulatory compliance, performance, and labeling requirements.
- Conduct material and product risk assessments to identify potential quality, GB, performance, and RSL issues and provide recommended solutions to stakeholders.
- Establish new relationships for Product Integrity & Compliance and enhance existing ones.
- Lead process improvements for Product Integrity & Compliance and update and maintain testing protocols.
- Contribute to training and development for the Product Integrity & Compliance team.
- Participate in key meetings: prototype reviews, product development meetings, material development meetings, cross‑department and MDI sessions.
- Manage testing for raw materials, prototypes, mock‑ups, salesman samples, and TOP testing, providing cross‑functional technical support.
- Advise on focus areas for testing and inspections to QA RM & QA FG based on risk assessments and test results.
- Collaborate with Warranty & Returns to analyze product failures and customer complaints, delivering feedback and recommendations to the Design, Material Development, and Product Development departments.
- Create comprehensive reports and analysis on all assigned categories/styles, communicating findings to stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Work with third‑party laboratories to create and develop new test methods as required by Canada Goose.
- Manage and track production and analysis lead times to ensure timely delivery in accordance with established project schedules and critical milestones.
- Escalate any and all quality issues, testing failures, and potential risks to the Senior Manager, Product Integrity & Compliance.
- Implement and communicate all aspects of Canada Goose product safety, regulatory compliance, product performance, and product labeling requirements to internal and external stakeholders.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in the apparel manufacturing industry, with outerwear experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Textiles Manufacturing, Textile Engineering, or related field.
- Knowledge of lab testing and experience with global testing and industry standards (EU, China, etc.).
- Experience in workshop facilitation and presenting requirements to a business audience.
- Experience managing medium to large scale cross‑functional projects.
- Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, and Power BI for reporting and data analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders.

- Confidence, articulation, goal‑orientation, self‑motivation, and a strong work ethic.

Salary Range: $54,000 – $76,000 per year (based on experience, skills, and alignment with the role).
