Quality Assurance Senior Specialist Shoppers Drug Mart

Enhance product safety at Shoppers Drug Mart as a Senior Specialist in Quality Assurance. Oversee compliance with regulations while implementing quality systems at our Toronto location.

Reporting to the Director of Quality Assurance, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining enterprise systems and ensuring adherence to Health Canada guidelines. You will be responsible for document management, non-conformance handling, regulatory audits, and staff training. Collaborating with suppliers and distribution centers, your expertise will ensure the delivery of safe health products to Canadians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and update quality documents to meet compliance

• Conduct internal and external audits on quality systems

• Manage product complaints and oversee corrective actions

• Facilitate training on GMPs and SOPs for personnel

• Evaluate and provide disposition of returned products

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years in GMP pharmaceutical Quality Assurance

• Bachelor’s degree in Science; pharmacy preferred

• Strong knowledge of Health Canada GMP guidelines

• Experience in writing validation protocols

• Regulatory Affairs experience is a plus
