Position: Porter Airlines Safety Auditor Role
Contribute to safety excellence at Porter Airlines in Toronto as a Safety Investigator Auditor. This position focuses on incident investigation, auditing, and safety system analysis.

You will support the Safety Management System under the Manager, SMS, ensuring continuous safety improvements across the airline. Responsibilities include comprehensive investigations of safety incidents, conducting quality assurance audits, and evaluating corrective actions taken. Additionally, you will promote safety culture by teaching root cause analysis methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough investigations of safety incidents and hazards

• Evaluate effectiveness of safety-critical functions through audits

• Analyze corrective actions resolving safety issues

• Train staff on root cause analysis for safety investigations

• Respect confidentiality of safety information during audits

Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent training in a relevant discipline

• Prior experience in a safety management system

• Knowledge of flight operations or maintenance preferred

• Understanding of auditing principles and analysis tools

• Excellent attention to detail and communication capabilities
