Senior QA Specialist

The client is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to support the delivery of its Digital Experience Platform (DxP) modernization initiative. The successful candidate will lead quality assurance and test automation efforts across public-facing and internal digital services, ensuring scalable, secure, accessible, and high-performing digital solutions. This role will work closely with Product, Architecture, Development, and Delivery teams to establish automated testing frameworks, validate enterprise integrations, and support continuous delivery within a cloud-native, API-driven environment.

• Develop and execute comprehensive QA strategies, test plans, and release quality gates for digital platform initiatives.
• Review business requirements, user stories, and technical designs to ensure testability and quality coverage.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar tools.
• Create and execute automated UI, API, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end test suites.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous quality validation.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, UAT, accessibility, and performance testing.
• Validate end-to-end user journeys, account management, vendor workflows, search functionality, and reporting capabilities.
• Test REST and GraphQL APIs and validate integrations with enterprise systems and third-party platforms.
• Verify authentication, authorization, and role-based access controls (RBAC) using OAuth2, OpenID Connect, Azure AD, and related technologies.
• Conduct accessibility testing in compliance with WCAG 2.2 AA and AODA standards.
• Support performance, load, and scalability testing to ensure application reliability and responsiveness.
• Execute deployment validation, smoke testing, and production readiness assessments across Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments.

• 7+ years of Quality Assurance (QA) experience with enterprise web applications and digital platforms.
• Strong hands‑on experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar tools.
• Experience testing modern web applications built with React, Next.js, and .NET/C#.
• Experience designing and executing Functional, Integration, Regression, UAT, Accessibility, Performance, UI, and API testing.
• Hands‑on experience testing REST APIs and/or GraphQL services.
• Experience with automated API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools.
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (Azure Dev Ops or similar).
• Experience testing applications utilizing headless CMS platforms (Contentful preferred).
• Robust understanding of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, Azure AD, and Azure External  frameworks.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA and AODA accessibility standards.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
• Experience with Azure Dev Ops Pipelines.
• Experience with Contentful CMS.
• Experience with enterprise SSO and Federated Identity solutions.
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, k6, or Load Runner.
• Experience testing bilingual or multilingual digital platforms.
• Experience with Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager integrations.
• Experience supporting public sector/government digital transformation projects.
• Experience leading QA strategy, automation initiatives, and release quality governance.
