This is a 3‑month fixed‑term salaried contract located in Ontario, Canada, preferably in Toronto.
What You’ll Do- Lead the design and implementation of test strategies and plans
- Mentor and guide mid‑level and junior QA engineers
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Cypress, Jmeter, and Postman
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality
- Analyze test results and provide recommendations for improvements
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Drive the adoption of best practices and continuous improvement in QA processes
- Act as a subject‑matter expert in software testing and quality assurance
- Expertise in Cypress and Type Script, Jmeter, Jest, Postman, SQL/DB, and Jira
- Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools
- Proficient in writing and executing complex test cases and test scripts
- Expertise in end‑to‑end, API, and performance/load testing
- Familiarity with source/version control such as Git
- Familiarity with AWS CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices
The anticipated hourly range for this position is $45 hourly
. Rate is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, expertise, and organizational impact. This is based on a 40‑hour workweek and leveling. We’re flexible.
