Senior QA Engineer

This is a 3‑month fixed‑term salaried contract located in Ontario, Canada, preferably in Toronto.

• Lead the design and implementation of test strategies and plans
• Mentor and guide mid‑level and junior QA engineers
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Cypress, Jmeter, and Postman
• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality
• Analyze test results and provide recommendations for improvements
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Drive the adoption of best practices and continuous improvement in QA processes
• Act as a subject‑matter expert in software testing and quality assurance

• Expertise in Cypress and Type Script, Jmeter, Jest, Postman, SQL/DB, and Jira
• Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools
• Proficient in writing and executing complex test cases and test scripts
• Expertise in end‑to‑end, API, and performance/load testing
• Familiarity with source/version control such as Git
• Familiarity with AWS CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $45 hourly
. Rate is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, expertise, and organizational impact. This is based on a 40‑hour workweek and leveling. We’re flexible.
