Quality Assurance Specialist at Hitachi Rail

In this full-time role in Toronto, you will lead Quality Assurance initiatives, guiding project teams through best practices. Your expertise in compliance assessment and risk management will be essential for the successful execution of low to medium complexity projects. The position includes preparing Quality Management Reports and ensuring adherence to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage project Quality Assurance for various initiatives

• Write and execute Quality Assurance Plans

• Coach project teams on QA processes and risks

• Conduct Root Cause Analysis for issue resolution

• Participate in Project Gates and provide Quality input

Requirements:

• B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering or related field

• 3 to 5 years in QA or Engineering systems

• Knowledge of QA practices and compliance processes

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Experience with ISO 9001 and industry standards
