We are seeking a Freelance Automotive Technical Inspector to conduct an on-site inspection of an armored Toyota vehicle located in Toronto. The inspection will verify compliance with specifications, armor protection level B6 European CEN 1063 standard, and overall vehicle quality, compliance, and other requirements.

Responsibilities

The Freelance Automotive Technical Inspectorwillberesponsibleforperforminginspectionsonarmoredvehiclestoensuretheymeetspecifiedstandardsandrequirements .

Performphysicalinspectionofanarmoredvehicle
Usetheirownreportormethodnormallyusefortechnicalinspections(theirownreportsalignedtoclientspecs)
Verifyarmorcomponents,ballisticglass,steelpanels,welding,fit,andseals
Confirmalignmentwiththeprovidedinspectionchecklist
Reviewdraftballisticdocumentationandreportfindings
Completewritteninspectionreportwithphotos

Qualifications

Priortechnical vehicle inspection training/experience
Automotive Technician,Automotive Technical Inspector ,orequivalentprofessionalbackground
Experienceconductingcommercial,industrial,orfleetvehicleinspections
Experienceinspectingmodified,reinforced,armored,security,military,orspecial-purposevehicles

Required Skills

Experiencewithcommercial,fleet,modified,orspecial-purposevehicle/carinspections
Experiencewiththeirownreport/methodfortechnicalvehicleinspection.
Proficiencywithinspectiontools,methods,and documentation
Abilitytofollowinspectioncriteriaandcompletedetailedwrittenreports
