What is in it for you:

• Salaried: $46-56 per hour.

• Incorporated Business Rate: $55-65 per hour.

• 6-month contract with the potential for permanent employment.

• Day schedule, 37.50 hours per week.

• Hybrid work, with 3 days per week in the office.

Responsibilities:

• Execute API and backend test cases using tools such as Postman or Rest Assured.

• Validate pricing calculations and business rule execution.

• Develop test scenarios for data-driven and rule-based systems.

• Perform end-to-end testing across multiple integrated systems.

• Validate batch outputs, including CSV files and exports, as well as API responses.

• Contribute to test automation initiatives.

• Participate in regression testing activities.

• Test complex multi-factor pricing logic.

• Manage test data across multiple integrated systems.

• Ensure consistency between batch outputs and API responses.

• Validate edge cases and rule combinations.

• Investigate and work through situations with limited visibility into upstream systems during failures.

What you will need to succeed:

• Degree/Certification:
Waiting for user information.

• 10+ years of experience in API and backend testing.

• Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools.

• Strong understanding of test case design for data-driven systems.

• Experience validating complex business logic, including calculations and rules.

• Ability to perform end-to-end testing across multiple integrated systems.

• Experience testing financial systems or pricing calculations.

• Knowledge of test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools.

• Strong SQL and data validation skills.

• Experience with batch testing and file-based validation, including CSV files and exports.

• Familiarity with performance or load testing tools.
