Scarborough Transit Connect (STC) is a joint venture between Aecon and FCC Canada Ltd. that was selected by Metrolinx to deliver the Scarborough Subway Extension – Stations, Rail and Systems (SSE‑SRS) package. The Scarborough Subway Extension will bring the TTC’s Line 2 subway service nearly eight kilometres farther into Scarborough. It will extend from Kennedy Station to Sheppard Avenue and McCowan Road, providing quick and seamless transit for those heading into and out of the downtown core and those travelling within Scarborough.
The extension will replace Line 3 (the Scarborough RT), helping to reduce travel times and improve access to jobs, schools, and other key destinations throughout the city.
As part of this project, we are currently looking for a Quality Records Closeout Coordinator to join our team.
What You Will Do- Coordinate the collection, review, tracking, and submission of quality records and turnover documentation for assigned project areas.
- Ensure quality records are complete, accurate, traceable, and compliant with project requirements, specifications, approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and contractual obligations.
- Maintain and monitor quality records trackers, turnover logs, and closeout dashboards to identify and resolve documentation gaps.
- Review inspection reports, test results, material certifications, as‑built records, and other quality documentation prior to inclusion in turnover packages.
- Liaise with Construction, Quality, Engineering, Commissioning, Document Control, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain and validate required closeout documentation.
- Support the preparation, compilation, and submission of turnover packages for client review and acceptance.
- Identify missing, incomplete, or non‑conforming records and coordinate corrective actions to achieve turnover readiness.
- Support quality audits, turnover reviews, commissioning activities, and project handover milestones.
- Maintain project records in accordance with quality management procedures, document control requirements, and ISO 9001 standards.
- Prepare status reports and performance metrics related to quality records and closeout progress.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Management, Engineering Technology, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management, document control, project closeout, turnover, or construction records management on major infrastructure projects.
- Experience with transit, rail, subway, transportation, or other large‑scale civil infrastructure projects is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of quality management principles and familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
- Understanding of construction quality documentation, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), turnover packages, commissioning documentation, and project closeout processes.
- Familiarity with Ontario construction standards and specifications, including CSA standards, OPSS, MTO standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Experience working with electronic document management systems (EDMS), project records databases, and document control platforms.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage large volumes of documentation and multiple priorities in a fast‑paced project environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify documentation gaps, inconsistencies, and compliance issues.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across Quality, Construction, Engineering, Commissioning, and Document Control teams.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and document management software.
Please note that this is a 100% onsite role.
Compensation: $100,000 - $115,000 annually.
