Quality Control Inspector at Gambles Group

Ensure top-notch produce quality at Gambles Group of Companies in Toronto, ON. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will perform inspections and ensure compliance with industry standards.

You will report to the Operations Manager and be pivotal in maintaining quality during inbound and outbound shipments. This full-time position involves inspecting perishable items, working in a fast-paced environment, and occasionally traveling to the Ontario Food Terminal. Your flexible schedule, including early morning starts, allows you to adapt to the business needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct produce inspections and report findings

• Maintain Gambles’ quality specifications

• Perform live quality assessments on inbound shipments

• Support the Ripening team with coverage and inspections

• Coordinate CFIA inspections as required

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in food science or agriculture

• Familiarity with CFIA grading standards

• Strong written and verbal English skills

• Ability to lift 50lbs and work in warehouses

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
