Exciting opportunity for a Lead Quality Engineer in RBC’s Toronto office. Drive QA automation strategies and improve functional testing coverage in a dynamic environment.
In this role, you will support the quality engineering team by creating and executing test scripts while maximizing automation in testing. Reporting to the Sr. QE Manager, your collaboration with business analysts and developers will be key in understanding project requirements. This position is ideal for candidates who thrive in Agile settings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute comprehensive test cases for projects
• Implement automation frameworks to enhance coverage
• Collaborate with teams to assess testing needs and design changes
• Plan and prioritize QA tasks efficiently
• Propose advancements to testing methodologies
Requirements:
• Proven experience in ETL testing and SQL writing skills
• Good knowledge of automation frameworks like Robot
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder management
• Degree in a relevant technical field
