Position: Miller IRI Technician - Quality Assurance Role

In this role, you will operate specialized IRI data collection equipment, working closely with field crews to ensure compliance with project specifications.

Your role as an IRI Technician requires independence, a keen eye for detail, and strong communication abilities. Extensive travel and flexible working hours make this position suitable for adaptable candidates ready to contribute to road construction quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Calibrate IRI data collection vehicles for accurate assessment

• Execute pavement smoothness testing on active projects

• Collaborate with teams to schedule and perform necessary tests

• Document and validate quality control data for invoicing

• Spot non-conformance issues and elevate them proactively

Requirements:

• Valid G driver’s license and ability for long-distance travel

• Excellent verbal communication skills for technical discussions

• Experience working independently in the field

• Willingness to travel frequently and manage schedule changes

• Capability to handle equipment weighing 50-60 lbs
