Senior QA Lead
Location:
Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

Pay Range: C $75 to C $85
Introduction
Join our team to lead quality assurance initiatives across banking and technology applications. We are seeking a highly experienced professional to focus on automation testing, regression testing, functional testing, API testing, and improving QA processes in an Agile environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications- 10 years of QA/testing experience
- Banking, financial services, or technology industry experience
- Automation testing experience with Selenium, Cucumber, Java, or similar tools
- Functional, regression, integration, and API testing experience
- Experience leading QA workstreams or small QA teams
- Experience with Jenkins, Git Hub, Jira, Octane, or similar tools
- Experience with API testing using Postman, REST APIs, or similar tools
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Prior work experience at client or in client's industry
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with SQL queries and data validation
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices
- Cloud exposure across AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience with audit, compliance, or regulatory environments
- QA certifications such as ISTQB
- Lead end-to-end QA activities across projects, applications, and delivery teams
- Define and execute test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test evidence
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts
- Oversee functional, regression, integration, and system testing
- Manage the defect lifecycle, including tracking, reporting, prioritization, and resolution
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure quality deliverables
- Mentor and guide QA analysts and junior testers
- Support documentation, traceability, and quality standards within a financial services environment
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog reviews
- Continuously improve QA processes, standards, and best practices
