Become an Electrical Inspector at SGS, where your expertise will safeguard quality on construction sites. Supervise and document compliance with safety regulations and project standards.
As a key inspector, you'll draw on over three years of field experience to oversee electrical construction activities for hydro networks. Understanding of the Electrical Utility Safety Rules (EUSR) and Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) will enable you to maintain high safety standards.
Your role will involve inspections, documentation, and ensuring all contractors adhere to required guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Verify that electrical installations meet safety regulations
• Conduct comprehensive inspections and audits of construction work
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and findings
• Assess contractor compliance through regular evaluations
• Provide feedback on construction quality and safety practices
Requirements:
• Certified Engineering Technologist in Electrical Engineering
• More than three years of relevant field experience
• Strong interpersonal and writing skills
• Flexible and willing to work in varied weather conditions
• Valid driver's license and comfort with site travel
