Quality Assurance Analyst IV

Our client, is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst IV to join their core software delivery team.

In this senior quality engineering role, you will take full ownership of ensuring the functional integrity and quality of complex, business-critical applications through end-to-end manual testing methodologies. Working closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and cross-functional QA team members, you will review technical specifications, design thorough test cases, and validate intricate business rules, pricing calculations, and multi-system integrations. This position is ideal for a seasoned QA professional who combines strong analytical problem-solving skills with a meticulous approach to data verification, edge-case analysis, and defect resolution.

Duration: 4-Month Contract (Period: 08/18/2026 to 12/31/2026, with potential for extension)

• High-Visibility Enterprise Scope:
  Validate business-critical enterprise applications, complex pricing frameworks, and multi-application data flows.

• Test Planning, Scenario Design & Execution
• Requirement Analysis:
  Review business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications to identify test scope, acceptance criteria, and edge-case scenarios.
• Test Case Development:
  Create, refine, and execute comprehensive manual test cases, detailed test plans, and end-to-end test scenarios across integrated application suites.
• Calculation & Logic Validation:
  Verify complex business rule execution, pricing logic, and algorithmic calculations to ensure complete functional accuracy.
• Multi-Layer Testing:
  Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and post-deployment validation, while supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles.
• Data Consistency, Defect Management & Collaboration
• Data Verification:
  Confirm data consistency across application interfaces, reports, APIs, batch outputs, and file transfers.
• Defect Life-Cycle Governance:
  Identify, document, track, and retest software defects through to resolution using enterprise tracking tools, assisting engineering teams with root-cause investigations.
• Agile Ceremonies:
  Participate actively in sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily standups, and defect triage meetings.
• Release Support:
  Validate production deployments and conduct post-implementation sanity testing to guarantee platform stability prior to stakeholder handoff.

• Professional QA
  
  Experience:
  
  10+ years of dedicated professional experience in Manual Quality Assurance and enterprise software testing.
• Test Case & Plan Mastery:
  Demonstrated expertise creating and executing thorough test plans, detailed test cases, and complex testing matrices.
• Complex Logic & Process Validation:
  Proven track record validating complex business processes, rule-based systems, and intricate pricing/calculation logic.
• End-to-End Integration Testing:
  Deep experience conducting end-to-end testing across multiple integrated enterprise applications and data pipelines.
• Defect Management Fluency:
  Strong defect tracking, reporting, and root-cause analysis support experience within structured QA environments.
• Soft Skills & Mindset:
  Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical problem-solving abilities; strong verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to collaborate effectively across distributed teams.

• Experience testing systems within Financial Services, Insurance, Wealth Management, or Pricing Engine domains.
• Solid SQL skills for backend data verification and database querying.
• Practical experience validating batch processing, file-based integrations, CSV data outputs, and generated reports.
• Familiarity with API testing tools (such as Postman) for functional endpoint validation.
• Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using platforms like Jira, Azure Dev Ops, or similar ALM tools.
