Quality Control Technician at GIP

Impact the future with GIP as a Quality Control Technician. Conduct vital material testing and field data collection to ensure project specifications are met in this hands-on role.

Reporting to the Quality Control Manager, this position focuses on asphalt and aggregate accuracy through field sampling and laboratory analysis. You will collaborate with site operations and lab teams to support quality assurance and efficiency. Daily travel to various site locations is required to gather samples and report findings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead asphalt and aggregate sample collection at multiple sites

• Operate drilling equipment to gather hot mix core samples

• Ensure timely transport and delivery of site samples

• Communicate material risks to site leadership and quality manager

• Improve sampling techniques and testing workflows

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Valid Driver’s License with a clean record

• Ability to lift 25 kilos in a field environment

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Proven attention to detail and quality in work
