As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will join a highly innovative, collaborative, and fast-paced team responsible for building, enhancing, and maintaining mission-critical systems that power Scotiabank’s public-facing digital experiences. ReasonNew Project
Key Accountabilities- Perform a wide range of testing activities, including Functional, UI, Content, Data, Cross-Browser, Cross-Device, Sanity, and Regression Testing across desktop, mobile, and tablet platforms.
- Participate in the full testing lifecycle by analyzing requirements, executing test cases and regression suites, validating fixes, and supporting project deliveries based on business priorities.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business stakeholders, and project teams to identify, prioritize, troubleshoot, and resolve defects in a timely manner.
- Track, manage, and communicate defect status while coordinating with relevant teams to drive issue resolution.
- Provide regular project status updates, proactively identify risks and blockers, and ensure timely release of readiness.
- Validate system functionality, user experience, content accuracy, and data integrity to maintain high-quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations, security standards, accessibility requirements, and data privacy policies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by recommending enhancements to testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Bachelor’s Degree level or above education – Computer Science, Engineering or technology
- ISTQB certification is nice to have
The ideal candidate will be strong QA with recent banking projects experience. Strong expertise in various testing disciplines, including Functional Testing, UI Testing, Content Testing, Data Validation, Cross-Browser Testing, Cross-Device Testing, Sanity Testing, and Regression Testing.

Interview format:
1 st round with in-person – 60 mins. With HM.
Technical questions based on previous experience.
Manual testing tools.
Project experience.
2 nd round inperson – 60 mins with HM and Team.
Behavioural and Cultural fit questions.
