This role leads initiatives to evaluate and improve testing and quality assurance practices, including advancing test automation capabilities and strengthening quality standards across Development teams.
This role is focused on driving QA transformation and continuous improvement across multiple teams.

This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in our downtown office. In-office attendance requirements may change based on business needs.

This is a high-impact Individual Contributor role where you'll lead the development and execution of QA strategy across mobile, web, API, database, and data platforms. - Ensures the quality of the products that technology delivers, working closely with all applications, common services/middleware, and infrastructure teams throughout the development/engineering lifecycle.
- Reviews and interprets all documentation related to testing, including business requirements and functional and design specifications, to provide input to the project team on the planning of testing activities.
- Provides guidance on reviewing, evaluating and driving requirements for testability to ensure review processes are adhered to.
- Leads initiatives. Able to coordinate resources and manage problems to resolution when necessary.
- Manages and leads the development and implementation of complete test strategies.
- Designs and supports the implementation of best-in-class testing strategies for complex solutions, across multiple platforms and businesses/groups.
- Recommends approaches to streamline and integrate technological processes and systems in the organization to improve overall efficiency and improve the bank.
- Drives the testing automation capabilities.
- In the future, this role may include managing very small team of QA’s
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience with coding expertise in Python or Java with a proven track record of building, maintaining, and scaling complex automation frameworks
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in mobile test automation frameworks leveraging Apptium or other tools to optimize test execution for local and cloud based testing
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience with writing and maintaining Jenkins pipelines to integrate automated testing and reduce cycle times
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience with leveraging Postman for API testing, being able to develop and execute parametrized, automated validation.
- Minimum 5+years’ experience with performance testing tools like Browser Stack/Selenium to build and scale distributed, parallel cloud/web testing.
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience with engineering performance, load, and stress test using Jmeter or equivalent performance testing tools.
