You will write Lean 4 proofs, transform informal math into formal statements, and validate models against rigorous mathematical standards. This position revolves around ensuring correctness and clarity while providing guidance on proof quality within a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Write idiomatic Lean 4 statements and proofs across various fields
• Formalize mathematics from textual sources into precise statements
• Review AI-generated proofs and provide constructive feedback
• Define quality guidelines for proofs and formal statements
• Collaborate with teams to maintain high standards of formalization
Requirements:
• Proven experience writing formal proofs in Lean 4
• Strong understanding of mathlib and Lean tactics
• Background in proof-based mathematics or theoretical computer science
• Clear communication of proof strategies and choices
• Availability of at least 20 hours per week during weekdays
