Food Manufacturing Quality Technician

Apply laboratory testing and food safety expertise as a Quality Technician with Griffith Foods, working onsite in Scarborough on the afternoon shift.
This eight-month contract supports product quality, documentation, and regulatory standards. You will analyze finished products, maintain laboratory records, calibrate equipment, and coordinate with Quality, Production, and Operations teams. The position requires organized work, careful testing, and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze finished product samples against established specifications
Prepare laboratory records, results, and technical reports
Calibrate and verify laboratory equipment as assigned
Conduct environmental swabs, ATP swabs, and pre-op inspections
Troubleshoot laboratory, equipment, and production issues
Requirements:
Diploma or bachelor's degree in a related discipline
One to two years of relevant hands-on experience

Experience with laboratory testing and quality documentation
Knowledge of GMPs and food safety principles
Availability for onsite Monday-to-Friday afternoon shifts
