Student, Retail Leasing (Summer 2026, 4 Months)

Oxford Properties Group is looking for a highly motivated summer student to join our Retail Leasing team in Toronto for a 4‑month internship.

This role offers hands‑on experience in leasing, customer service, property administration, and research initiatives.

• Assist senior leasing team in ensuring leasing processes provide a pleasant experience for customers and constituents.
• Maintain current inventory of floor plans, coordinate with internal stakeholders and onsite personnel, and facilitate information requests from brokers and tenants.
• Coordinate the tour process, schedule required personnel, communicate with 3rd‑party brokers, and prepare marketing materials.
• Source and prospect new tenants.
• Participate in leasing tours as requested.
• Perform financial analysis of prospective lease transactions and create/maintain a comparable lease transaction database.
• Collaborate with Corporate Marketing to develop, maintain, and organize property‑specific and corporate marketing materials.
• Develop a working relationship with 3rd‑party brokers, retailers, etc.
• Draft letters of intent, term sheets, and deal VTSs for internal transaction review and approval.
• Support the team with report preparation for quarterly meetings and coordinate special projects and events.

• 3rd year student pursuing an undergraduate degree in Commerce, Real Estate, Finance or Urban Planning.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word; knowledge of ARGUS DCF preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication.
• Self‑motivated, strong work ethic, high attention to detail.
