Senior Community Manager

203 Residences and Bridge | Toronto, ON

The Opportunity

The Senior Community Manager helps ensure effective residential property operations by supporting a strong resident experience, coordinating leasing and administrative functions, and managing daily operational activities.

As a key resident contact, this role contributes to resident satisfaction, occupancy, and revenue while ensuring alignment with company policies and applicable residential tenancy legislation.

This is an onsite position located in Toronto, ON.

What You Will Do
  • Operational oversight:
    Manage day-to-day property operations, customer service, rent collection, arrears, maintenance, inspections, supplies, and suite turnovers.
  • Compliance:
    Ensure policies, procedures, tenancy legislation, legal notices, deposits, and documentation are followed accurately and consistently.
  • Leasing:
    Respond to inquiries, conduct property tours, showcase suites, and follow up with prospective residents to support leasing goals.
  • Market knowledge:
    Maintain strong knowledge of properties, amenities, neighbourhoods, availability, competitors, and market trends to support pricing and leasing strategies.
  • Resident experience:
    Address resident questions, complaints, and concerns professionally while promoting community engagement, satisfaction, and positive reputation.
  • Resident retention:
    Oversee move-ins, orientations, lease renewals, and resident events to strengthen engagement, loyalty, and revenue retention.
  • Leadership:
    Lead, develop, supervise, and motivate site staff, service providers, and contractors while setting goals and implementing action plans.
  • Financial management:
    Support budgets, forecasts, management plans, variance analysis, purchasing, and vendor coordination while operating within approved budgets.
  • Sustainability:
    Establish and support targets for energy efficiency, emissions, water conservation, waste reduction, and recycling while engaging residents and staff in sustainability initiatives.
Who You Are Key Qualifications
  • Education:

    College or university education in business, hospitality, or a related field is considered an asset.
  • Experience:

    3+ years of related experience in residential property management, hospitality, or a related field; post-secondary coursework in property management or hospitality and team leadership experience are assets.
  • Industry Knowledge:
    Strong understanding of applicable laws, legislation, and rights related to resident and landlord relations.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office: MS Word, Excel, and Outlook;
  • Knowledge of Yardi an asset

  • Work Planning & Delegation – Effectively prioritizes, schedules, delegates and coordinates work to balance operational needs, team capacity and resident service expectations.
  • Accountability & Follow-Through – Holds self, employees and service providers accountable for quality, safety, timelines and established standards.
  • Police Clearance – A criminal verification check is required for employment
