Project-Focused Development Manager Ontario

Take charge as a Development Manager in North York, Ontario, overseeing multifamily residential projects. This full-time, in-office role prioritizes hands-on management from planning through construction.

As Development Manager, you report directly to the Director of Development.

Your role centers on managing two concurrent developments, coordinating with consultants, and ensuring efficient project execution. This position demands a proactive approach in addressing design and coordination challenges, while maintaining strict control over schedules and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple multifamily development projects simultaneously

• Set project priorities and reporting requirements

• Guide projects from feasibility through to turnover

• Maintain project visibility and address key decision points

• Identify and mitigate risks impacting timelines and costs

Requirements:

• Experience in residential development management

• Strong skills in budgeting and project scheduling

• Knowledge of the municipal approval processes

• Ability to resolve design issues collaboratively

• Willing to travel to various development sites
