Our financial services client is seeking a Director, Business Operations (10+ years) to lead global real estate operational policies, compliance, and contract management using real estate investment and AML/ATF processes- 17306
Join a global real estate operations team supporting investment platforms across Canada, the United States, and Asia. This role leads operational policy development, compliance and risk management programs, contract management, and business continuity planning within a large-scale real estate investment environment. The position supports a real estate platform managing office, industrial, retail, and multifamily assets across multiple regions and investment strategies.
Location:
Toronto/Hybrid- 3 Days a Week on Site
Duration: 1 Year (Start Date December 15th)
Must Haves
10+ years within Business Operations including 5+ years in the real estate industry
Experience with Real Estate accounting system (Yardi is a plus)
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and real estate accounting systems
Strong background in real estate investment , asset management, accounting, and administration concepts
AML/ATF compliance, risk management, audit coordination, and contract management
Nice to Have
Experience with Yardi, VTS, and Anaplan
Experience working with real estate funds
Responsibilities
Develop and lead implementation of GRE operational policies and procedures
Manage business unit compliance and risk management programs
Lead onboarding and offboarding processes for investments, ventures, and funds
Coordinate internal and external audit responses for the GRE platform
Manage contract inventory, renewal tracking, and vendor invoice processing
Administer AML/ATF compliance reporting, monitoring, and assessment activities
Own and maintain the business continuity plan for the business unit
