Position: Research Project Manager I
JOB SUMMARY
Research Project Manager I will work on multiple projects within CMWH. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Principal Investigator of the assigned projects but must be able to work independently and effectively to produce high quality research, documents, communication and overall project management.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop search strategies and conduct literature searches in conjunction with informational specialistProvides reliable literature, evidence and references for the proposals and papersPerforms systematic reviews and synthesis of clinical research evidenceScreens the retrieved literature and assess the quality of eligible studies by using the appropriate toolsDevelops relevant data extraction forms and collect the required informationManages and develops the project timelines and deliverables of multiple projects in collaboration with other team membersSupports in development of funding Agreements, project charters, project goals and budgetCommunicate with principal investigators on a regular and consistent basis to ensure they are apprised of project status, progress, issues, and timelinesCreates and maintains financial reporting for all projects and reports this on at least a monthly basis to the principal investigatorsPrepares data for processing by organizing information, checking for any inaccuracies, and adjusting and weighing the raw dataDevelops and manages project databasesProvides graphical content and copy editing for materials prepared by principal investigators and other scientists on the teamCoordinates meetings and develop agendasSupports requests by research program team members on issues related to general and technical support, document creation, grants submission and other administrative duties.Assists Scientists in the creation and development of presentations highlighting research achievements for both lay and professional audiences discussing scientific contributions of our research programs.Creates tables and figures for manuscripts.Maintains files for manuscripts in preparation, review, and reprintsMaintains files for grants in preparation, review, and resubmissionsCreates metrics reports for supervisor and team members, for use in grant applications and departmental reporting.Identifies and communicates grant opportunities to Principal Investigator consistent with program goals and objectivesDevelop and manages grant budgets that are accurate and consistent with granting agencies’ standards and protocols, in conjunction with the Research Project Manager IICreates graphical conceptualizations of project timelines, organizational hierarchies and objectivesEnsures principal investigators have a clear understanding of requirements and procedures for grant applicationsSupports principal investigators in the development of grants and is responsible for the submission of grantsRevises, develops and implements procedures and policies related to project management and reportingMaintains all files related to research projects.Coordinates communications with research assistants, coordinators, statistical analysts, trainees, and Scientists at other sitesTracks and manages all aspects of the grant and manuscript submission process.Reviews Data Transfer Agreements and Research Agreements with investigators and other internal and external stakeholders (research service departments, external study sites, etc.)Other duties as assigned by the Principal InvestigatorsEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Degree: Bachelor’s degree
