Under Dr. Moumita Barua, you will work on pressing research projects that bridge human genetics and translational applications. Ideal candidates will have distinguished publications and must excel in molecular biology and data analysis, contributing significantly to the lab's mission of improving kidney disease diagnostics and therapies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and run complex molecular biology experiments
• Analyze multi-omics kidney disease datasets
• Conduct preclinical research using mouse models
• Work collaboratively to integrate and validate findings
• Prepare manuscripts and assist in grant writing
Requirements:
• Cannot be currently affiliated with UHN
• PhD (or equivalent) obtained within the last year
• Strong ability with data analysis and statistical methods
• Proficient in next-generation sequencing
• Interest in kidney disease biology is essential
