Data Sciences Research Associate Position

The Data Sciences Institute is offering a limited-term Research Associate role for up to five years, focusing on the VITAL initiative. You will be pivotal in developing and managing methods for federated analysis of electronic health records spanning several provinces. This position rewards those with a strong foundation in statistical analysis and collaborative biomedical research.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead federated statistical analysis projects

• Develop tailored tools for a national EHR network

• Collaborate on diverse biomedical research topics

• Ensure reproducible research practices

• Communicate findings effectively in scientific writing

Requirements:

• PhD in relevant fields such as biostatistics

• Four or more years in EHR data analytics

• Demonstrated capabilities in federated inference methods

• Skilled in SQL, Python, and R

• Ability to clearly present analyses to clinical teams
