Senior Research Associate

We are seeking a Senior Research Associate to support a hybrid role in Toronto. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in research, project management, and experience with Shopper Insights and CPG clients.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Research Associate, you will:

  • Execute comprehensive research projects from study design, analysis, and storyline development to final report, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of quantitative research studies, ensuring precise data collection and adherence to project specifications.
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing updates on project progress.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations that clearly communicate research findings and actionable recommendations to clients.
  • Work closely with project managers and junior analysts to ensure smooth project execution and high-quality deliverables.
  • Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data and research outputs by conducting thorough checks and reviews.
  • Utilize and manage various research tools and software to enhance data collection and analysis processes.
  • Guide and support junior team members, providing training on research tools and methodologies.
Qualifications

Essential:

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in research projects across the entire project lifecycle.
  • Strong quantitative research skills with focus on the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
  • Effective time management abilities, able to juggle multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
  • Highly developed abilities in analyzing and interpreting intricate qualitative and quantitative data to produce coherent insights and narratives that aid in client decision‑making.
  • Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English, including experience in preparing presentations and reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of SPSS and other packages (Python, SQL, R).
  • Interest in industry development and emerging trends.

Location

This role is hybrid and requires working from a Toronto location as needed.
