Lead Research and Innovation at SHNRI

Join Scarborough Health Network as a Lead in Research and Innovation across practice-based initiatives. This role focuses on enhancing nursing and allied health professions through quality improvement strategies.
As the Lead for Practice-Based Research and Innovation (PBRI) at SHNRI, you will develop and implement strategic research initiatives aligned with organizational priorities.

Your role will advance Practice-Based Research Networks and embed Quality Improvement Research into clinical practice. You will also provide mentorship and coaching in research design and methodologies to clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the PBRI strategy

• Advance Practice-Based Research Networks to improve patient care

• Embed Quality Improvement Research initiatives into clinical practice

• Mentor nursing and allied health staff in research methodologies

• Promote dissemination of research findings in peer-reviewed platforms
Requirements:

• PhD or equivalent in relevant fields

• Minimum 4-5 years in a leadership or academic role

• Proven experience in leading research and quality initiatives

• Strong knowledge of ethical research practices

• Excellent communication and project management skills
