Position: Intermediate Consultant for Community Well-Being
Make a difference as an Intermediate Socio-Economic Consultant with Avaanz, part of SLR Consulting, engaging communities across Canada in socio-economic projects.
This role requires you to oversee and participate in socio-economic studies and foster strong stakeholder engagement. You will employ your analytical skills in qualitative research and report writing while working within multidisciplinary teams. Project management skills will be essential for tracking budgets and timelines, reinforcing a positive work culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead community-focused socio-economic studies and impact assessments

• Facilitate engagement initiatives with various stakeholders

• Conduct qualitative research and compile project reports

• Collaborate with teams on technical regulatory submissions

• Manage project scope, budget, and schedule effectively
Requirements:

• 3-5+ years in environmental consulting experience

• Degree in relevant field like environmental or social sciences

• Skilled in Indigenous consultation and public engagement

• Proven track record in research and analysis

• Readiness to occasionally travel within Canada
