The purpose of the Ontario CLRI is to strengthen the quality of life and care for residents across the province. It does this by providing education and sharing research and innovations to enhance the health and well‑being of people who live and work in long-term care.

Job Summary

The Ontario Centres for Learning, Research and Innovation in Long-Term Care (Ontario CLRI) at Baycrest is seeking a highly organized and collaborative Project Coordinator to support a diverse portfolio of projects focused on knowledge mobilization, innovation, education, and research in long‑term care. Reporting to the Manager, Knowledge Mobilization, the Project Coordinator will coordinate multiple concurrent projects and contribute to research and evaluation activities, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.

This role requires strong project management skills, comfort working in a fast-paced and innovative environment, and the ability to collaborate with internal and external partners across the long‑term care, research, education, and technology sectors. Many initiatives involve educational technologies, digital platforms, and the translation of evidence into practice, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys both operational project work and applied research support.

Key Responsibilities Project Coordination and Management
  • Coordinate and support multiple concurrent projects across Ontario CLRI, ensuring timelines, milestones, and deliverables are met.
  • Co‑develop and implement project plans, including workplans, schedules, Gantt charts, RACI matrices, and risk/issue logs.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to the Manager, Knowledge Mobilization and project teams.
  • Organize and facilitate project meetings and working groups, including agenda preparation, minute‑taking, documentation of decisions, and follow‑up task tracking.
Knowledge Mobilization, Education, and Innovation Support
  • Coordinate the development, implementation, and updating of educational products and knowledge mobilization resources.
  • Liaise with vendors, partners, and internal Baycrest teams to support delivery of digital initiatives.
  • Support dissemination activities such as conference submissions, presentations, workshops, and collaborator events.
Research, Evaluation, and Data Activities
  • Support Research Ethics Board applications across Ontario CLRI projects.
  • Coordinate qualitative and quantitative data collection activities (e.g., surveys, interviews, focus groups), including recruitment and logistics.
  • Conduct data entry, cleaning, management, and backups in accordance with project protocols.
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data and prepare clear summaries, reports, dashboards, and presentation materials for internal and external audiences.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external research and evaluation partners to support timely reporting and knowledge translation.
Administrative and Project Support
  • Prepare reports, presentations, briefing notes, and other documentation for project teams, leadership, and funders.
