Join Indspire as a Research and Impact Assistant this summer, where you will leverage data science techniques to support Indigenous education initiatives.

As part of the Research & Impact team, this contract allows you to immerse yourself in data collection and analysis while working alongside experienced professionals. Students in Indigenous Studies, Social Science, or Data Science will thrive in this dynamic environment, employing data methodology to yield insightful findings and impact reporting. This role not only prioritizes research but also focuses on knowledge translation through various communication materials.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage in data collection and analysis activities
• Assist in producing detailed research reports and insights
• Create resources such as blog posts and presentations
• Use secondary data to explore relevant research questions
• Evaluate programs and events through reflection and reporting
Requirements:
• Enrollment in or completion of a relevant degree program
• Familiarity with Indigenous research methodologies is desirable
• Proficiency in spreadsheet tools like Excel or Google Sheets
• Strong qualitative and quantitative research abilities
• Ability to communicate effectively as part of a team or independently
