Advance global affairs research as a Research Officer with the University of Toronto in Downtown Toronto. Engage with stakeholders and support projects focused on Africa's development and governance.
The successful Research Officer will play a vital role in facilitating in‑country research and managing key partnerships. You will work closely with LoGRIs teams to communicate research findings effectively, and support the African Mayoral Leadership Initiative. This position requires excellent management skills and the ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data from various sources.
Key Responsibilities- Schedule project activities and maintain records
- Conduct systematic literature reviews
- Analyze data and generate comprehensive reports
- Coordinate meetings and create agendas
- Support publication of research findings in journals
- Master’s Degree in a relevant field
- Minimum three years of research support experience
- Bilingual in French and English
- Experience in qualitative and quantitative analysis
- Proven ability to work independently and manage tasks
