The University of Toronto's Data Sciences Institute invites applications for a Research Associate to support the VITAL initiative. This role involves collaboration with over 160 hospitals across Canada to enhance access to health data for research. You will utilize the expertise in statistical methods and EHR data analytics to aid in national projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Spearhead statistical analysis techniques for EHR data

• Create user-friendly tools for federated network users

• Work with clinicians on biomedical research applications

• Maintain reproducible research methodologies

• Craft and publish studies in scientific domains

Requirements:

• PhD in statistical sciences or related discipline

• At least 4 years of relevant experience in EHR analysis

• Mastery of federated statistical inference

• Competence in SQL, Python, and R programming

• Proficient communication for clinical presentations
