This pivotal role entails overseeing extensive research outputs, including the Canadian Transit Statistics Fact Book and various technical studies. By collaborating closely with transit agencies and engaging with industry experts, you will ensure that CUTA's advocacy is rooted in solid evidence and data. The directorate also leads technical service initiatives, focusing on zero-emission bus programs and operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the production of economic analyses and knowledge products
• Oversee the full research lifecycle from design to publication
• Develop benchmarking tools and assessment frameworks
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions to translate findings
• Direct the implementation of zero-emission strategies
Requirements:
• Degree in transportation, policy, or economics
• 5-7 years of research experience in transit
• Strong analytical abilities and data literacy
• Experience managing stakeholder relations
• Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
