Research and Evaluation Assistant

Position: Contract Research and Evaluation Assistant
Be a part of transformative research initiatives at the YMCA as a Research and Evaluation Assistant. Help improve community programs through effective data analysis and insight generation.

This contract role will span 8 weeks, starting on June 22, 2026. You will assist in all facets of research activities from design to dissemination.

Your role includes conducting literature reviews and assisting with both qualitative and quantitative data efforts to create valuable summaries for stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation and coordination of research studies

• Conduct reviews to pinpoint emerging trends and best practices

• Manage data collection through various methodologies

• Prepare clear and impactful presentations and reports

• Coordinate research tasks and organize datasets efficiently

Requirements:

• Must be 15 to 30 years old at start

• Relevant education in fields like social sciences required

• Previous experience in research beneficial

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

• Commitment to diversity and inclusivity in workplace
