Analyst
OverviewThis position provides research, analytical analysis and report writing support across consulting and valuation engagements, delivering high‑quality research and insight‑driven data analysis. The role involves collecting and interpreting market and property data across Canada, maintaining and supporting databases, and assisting in the development of client‑ready reports and deliverables.
Responsibilities- Support the Seniors Housing & Healthcare team by providing research, data analysis, and administrative assistance.
- Conduct in‑depth market research to gather, verify, and maintain accurate market data using online tools, field‑based research, and direct outreach to market participants.
- Manage and update internal databases to ensure data integrity, consistency, and reliability.
- Assist in report preparation by conducting supporting analysis, collecting and interpreting market and property data, and contributing to the development of client‑ready reports and written deliverables.
- Assist with research and map creation in relevant GIS software.
- Assist with macro analysis of internal and external data to identify and interpret market trends.
- Collaborate and support the efforts of the practice to ensure exceptional service to our clients.
- Detail‑Oriented – Demonstrates a strong commitment to data accuracy and quality.
- Analytical Perspective – Ability to interpret data through both quantitative and qualitative lenses.
- Communication Skills – Strong written and verbal communication with clarity and professionalism.
- Technical Proficiency – Advanced skills in MS Office, especially Excel; working knowledge of Access.
- GIS Knowledge – Experience with or willingness to learn ArcGIS or similar GIS tools.
- Accountability – Demonstrates reliability, resilience, and a commitment to delivering results.
- Adaptability – Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Growth Focus – Willingness to further develop knowledge of commercial valuation and market feasibility analysis.
- Resourcefulness – Proactive in identifying efficient ways to gather and validate data.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, data science, urban geography, or a related field with a focus on real estate, analysis, or market research.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel; working knowledge of Access and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Excellent command of the English language (English is the primary language in the office environment). Bilingualism (English/French) considered an asset.
Salary range: $55,000 – $65,000.
