This high school internship is designed for Grade 11/12 students passionate about health sciences and clinical research. You will collect and analyze data, administer patient questionnaires, and conduct literature reviews on cancer topics. Additionally, you'll assist in preparing documentation and presentations while adhering to hospital protocols and ethical guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collect and analyze clinical research data on cancer
• Administer patient questionnaires assessing quality of life
• Conduct literature searches relevant to research topics
• Maintain documentation and databases within research protocols
• Collaborate on presentations for research findings
Requirements:
• Enrolled in Grade 11/12, strong interest in health sciences
• Completed statistics or data management course
• Solid academic performance in science and mathematics
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to ensure confidentiality of research data
This role offers hands-on research experience while contributing significantly to ongoing cancer studies at Sunnybrook.
