Summary of the Role
We’re looking for a motivated Research Associate to join our team and help deliver impactful insights for clients across industries. In this entry‑level role, you’ll get hands‑on experience with the full research cycle — from survey design and client communications to data analysis and reporting. WhatYou’ll Do
- Assist with survey design, questionnaires, and sampling to meet client objectives.
- Act as the day‑to‑day contact for clients and project collaborators.
- Coordinate and manage multiple projects at once, ensuring on‑time and accurate delivery.
- Partner with suppliers when needed to ensure high‑quality data collection at reasonable costs.
- Analyze and interpret final datasets, creating clear, visually engaging reports (PowerPoint or similar).
- Guide clients through findings using You Gov’s analytics tools and software.
- 1–2+ years of experience in market research.
- Proven ability to run multiple projects simultaneously (survey design, client contact, reporting).
- Solid understanding of primary research methods across sectors.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and numerical skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office and basic statistics.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build strong relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a collaborative team mindset.

For roles based in California, New York, Colorado, Massachusetts, or Washington State, the base salary hiring range for this position is $62,500 – 72,000 USD. For Canada, the salary range for this position is $70,300 – 75,000 CAD. Compensation offered will be determined by multiple factors including location, job‑related knowledge, skills and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation and additional benefits.
