Director of Industry Intelligence at CUTA

Advance your career with CUTA as the Director of Industry Intelligence & Research. You will spearhead research initiatives that shape transit data and policy while engaging with key industry stakeholders.

In this role, you will drive the complete research process, guiding the development of technical studies, issue papers, and the Canadian Transit Fact Book. This includes leading communications with members to identify challenges, translating complex information into clear insights, and ensuring research outputs meet industry standards. Additionally, you'll play a crucial role in zero-emission bus initiatives, uniting the sector in discussions about electrification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the design and analysis of research projects

• Produce actionable insights for transit agencies and businesses

• Support CUTA events with relevant data-driven content

• Engage with external research partners and manage projects

• Build relationships with industry stakeholders across the sector

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in a relevant field

• Minimum 5-7 years of sector experience

• Experience in managing research programs

• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills

• Bilingualism (English and French) is preferable
